1. Definitions

• Client: The individual or entity contracting Photographer for services.

• Deposit: Non-refundable payment required to secure a booking date.

• Delivery: Electronic transmission of edited photographs to Client.

• Discount Code: Promotional code offering a reduced service fee.

• Intellectual Property: Copyrights, trademarks, and other proprietary rights.

• Images: Photographs captured by Photographer during the shoot.

• Raw Images: Unedited photographs captured by Photographer.

• Reshoot: A repeat photography session due to Photographer error.

• Shoot: The scheduled photography session between Photographer and Client.

2. Booking Services & Fees

• Bookings: Bookings can be made online through our website.

• Quotes & Estimates: We provide quotes or estimates for services upon request through email. Final pricing may vary slightly based on the specific needs of special shoots. Package prices are final.

• Payment: The entire amount of the purchase will be charged upfront when booking. We accept payment preferably through E-Transfer, but Debit/Credit works as well.

• Discount Codes: Discount codes have specific terms and expiration dates. They cannot be combined unless explicitly stated and may exclude certain services.

• Pricing: The prices listed on this website and in our price lists are subject to change at any time, including coupons & discounts. We will update our website and/or price lists to reflect any price changes. The price charged will be the price in effect at the time you place your order.

3. Services & Deliverables

• Scope of Work: A separate contract or confirmation email will outline the specific services in your booking.

• Editing & Delivery: We will edit your photos and deliver them electronically within at least 7 business days of the shoot. This number may fluctuate depending on demand and other unforeseen circumstances. I will communicate clearly when this happens.

• Revisions: A limited number of revisions (typically 2) are included in your package. Additional revisions may be subject to an extra fee.

4. Copyright & Usage

• Ownership: We retain copyright ownership of all photographs.

• Client Usage: You are granted a non-exclusive license to use the photographs for personal and non-commercial purposes.

• Commercial Use: Commercial use of the photographs requires a separate agreement and fee with special shoots.

• Alterations: You may request the original RAW photos after 14 days of your purchase and alter the photographs to your liking if we are unsuccessful in satisfying your needs.

5. Cancellation Policy

• Client Cancellation: Cancellations made 12 hours or more before the shoot will result in a full refund of the purchase.

• Rescheduling: You may reschedule your booking anytime before the 24-hour mark of the booking date for free. 

• Photographer Cancellation: Unfortunately, if you cancel less than 12 hour of the photoshoot, we are only able to offer a partial refund of 50% of the total booking fee, while anything before 1 hour or simply not showing up for your scheduled session ("No Show"), you will recieve NO refund. This ensures that parties are both liable for the booking.

6. Client Conduct

• You agree to conduct yourself in a professional and respectful manner during the photoshoot.

• You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits for the photoshoot location.

7. Disclaimer

We strive to provide the highest quality service. However, we cannot guarantee specific results or be held liable for unforeseen circumstances on the day of the shoot.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta.
